PLACID TEMPLE

A Place to Call Home

4 DAY EVENTS CALENDAR

Our Worship is an Act of Love

Colossians 3:16-17 “Christ’s message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.” Join Us and Be Blessed.

A Place to Be Loved

Hebrews 10:24-25Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good.  Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.”

Healing Beings Here

James 5:13-16  “Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.  Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church, and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.  JOIN US – Allow the healing to begin.

BAPTISM

Baptism declares that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. It is a public confession of your Obedience, Submission, and Commitment to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.  It symbolizes your new life as a Christian as one buries the “old life” and rises to walk in a “new life.” Baptism is like a wedding ring; it is the outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart, which must be followed through and lived out daily.
